Bishop Wayne N. Miller was
installed as bishop of the Metropolitan Chicago Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America on Sunday,
September 9, 2007, at 3:00 p.m., at the Episcopal
Cathedral of St. James, 65 East Huron St., Chicago, IL
60611. His term as bishop began officially on September 1,
2007, and is for six years. ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark S.
